There will be a Special Meeting of the membership of the Loudoun County Bar Association on Monday, August 29 at 5 p.m. in the Board Room on the first floor of the County Government Center, located at 1 Harrison Street, S.E. in Leesburg.  Parking is available in the County garage.  The purpose of the meeting is to hear remarks from the judicial candidates and to vote on the candidates to determine which will receive the Bar’s endorsement.  Voting will be permitted in advance, and each member may only cast one ballot.  Ballots and the ratings for each judicial candidate from the Judicial Qualification Evaluation Committee will be provided to the membership by email on August 26 and all “early” ballots must be provided to the Secretary no later than noon on August 29.  Anyone wishing to vote who is unable to return a ballot by noon will need to attend the 5 p.m. meeting in order to vote. We realize this is a tight deadline, but that is what we have to work with!

Early ballots must be sent to the Secretary at [email protected] from the email address used by the member to receive LCBA emails OR the ballot must be signed and scanned/emailed or hand delivered to the Secretary’s office located on the 5th floor of the County Government Center (access to the 5th floor is restricted and you must call in order to be admitted).

The results of the vote will be announced after voting closes at the end of the meeting, and will be  provided to the membership by email.
